Micki Ward
Graphic Artist/Web Designer
In 1992 I graduated from an intensive 18-month course in Graphic Art from the Art Center Design College in Tucson, Arizona.
Since then I have worked as a slave to the Art Director at a small agency, returned to my alma-mata to teach, developed and delivered multiple computer classes at two different companies, became a Certified Site Designer and worked on an intensive site redesign as lead designer for Austin Energy.
Along the way I've maintained a successful freelance business doing web site and promotional design for local and international businesses and individuals, including two bands, a resort in Fiji and an independent horror film.
Personally, I have traveled to many exotic places, climbed rocks, hiked to waterfalls in the highlands of Fiji, scuba dove with a sea turtle and gazed upon an original Van Gogh in Amsterdam.
Much to my delight I have seen myself on the big AND little screen as everything from a saloon girl of the Wild West to a flesh eating zombie of tomorrow. I have even been a semi-finalist for Survivor Africa and donned an orange wig as "Texas" in a musical production of Cabaret.
I'm an artist, a photographer, a teacher and a designer. As well as a traveler, a climber, an actress and a dancer - and I can't wait to find out what comes next!
